Yes, our outreach includes everyone. We are not leaving anyone behind based on the 17 SDGs goals which I am the Cross River State Coordinator championing the cause. You can also see that in the pictures we sent to you earlier on. Religion, race, colour, or any other forms of segregation can not stop us from reaching out to more beneficiaries.

HOW HAS THE PARTNERSHIP HELPED YOUR COUNTRY?:-
This partnership is a divine arrangement by God Almighty Himself, because of His Grace I have met Dr Radhika Batra. I am very happy to be doing this and also the beneficiaries are also glad that actually they can receive this quality supplements free of charge knowing fully well the economic condition of our nation. The beneficiaries are experiencing tremendous healing and restoration health wise from the feedbacks I am getting. My new name now is Dr. Vitamins, according to the beneficiaries due to the healthy pregnancy, treatment of the internal heat they all have, new conception by those child bearing mothers who had been barren, correction of hormonal imbalances, and regular menstrual cycles etc. This partnership has given me the right direction to see the needs of our country women and children and I hope to build on it further through your support and assistance. Thank you to Dr Radhika Batra and Vitamin Angels.

"My work brings me great happiness!"

Ekpenyong is a highly dedicated, courageous, passionate individual, whose determination knows no bounds. he has tremendous organizational ability, as proved by the fact that he has been organizing a series of camps for women and children in Nigeria. Patients come from far and wide. They come on foot, carrying their babies in their arms and bags.  "I am delighted that I could partner with Every Infant Matters. My people are benefitting greatly. We get medicines of the highest quality, and this quality assurance means a lot to us. We get the best possible support including training from Dr Radhika Batra. We have achieved a lot, but I am not content, there is so much more that has to be done."

We work with compassion and inclusion

Ekpenyong believes in inclusive programs.  "Why should we bother about religion or colour? We never do. People matter. Children matter. Its important that children get health. We cannot buy food to feed them all, but just be giving Vitamin A we are able to save our children from going blind. Often our patients are very poor. Yesterday I got a small boy who was severely underweight, he was born small and was doing poorly since birth. Now we are giving Vitamins to all pregnant women in the area so that the babies can be born with better health and adequate weight."

LARGE PROJECT FOR WOMEN & CHILDREN WITH HIV/AIDS IN NIGERIA

Health camps- a resounding success

We have carried out a series of health camps in Nigeria.
Recently, a large scale camp was carried out in Ekori community, Yakurr LGA in Cross River State, Nigeria,  from 28th to 30th December, 2019.  More than 2700 pregnant women attended. Each women was gifted a bottle or high quality vitamins. each bottle contained 180 tablets, to last for 6 months of pregnancy.
"We are excited about our partnership with Every Infant Matters and also with the great support given by the government, local authorities, and the communities themselves" says  Ekpneyong Effiok, SGx Director Calabar. Ekpenyong Effiok wants to scale the project across Nigeria and replicate in other countries of Africa.
"Childhood Health begins in the womb itself" says Dr Radhika Batra.  "14.6 per cent of all babies born globally are of low birthweight. They are more likely to die during their first month of life. Those who survive face lifelong consequences including a higher risk of stunted growth, lower IQ,  and adult-onset chronic conditions such as obesity and diabetes.   To grow a healthy baby, mothers need good nutrition, rest, adequate antenatal care, and a clean environment. We provide mothers with the essential prenatal vitamins to support the growth and development of the baby in the womb"
