Godrej Consumer Products has made a donation of 25,000 bottles of sanitizers for distribution among homeless and hungry in 6 states of North East India.

“So many crates!” exclaim Every Infant Matters local partners.  Distribution started across the North east in six states. Sanitizers for orphans and homeless children are a very big need. Mere awareness and education is not enough.  Handwashing and social distancing are luxuries that low-income people can’t afford.

Milni lost her job in the COVID-19 pandemic. She has 4 children, but there is no money to buy food. The children face starvation. There is no money to buy soap and sanitizers.

When hands are not washed properly, there are recurrent infections. Lowered immunity further aggravates the threat of COVID-19

The second wave, now gripping the nation, is far more deadly than the first. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought in its wake two accompanying pandemics, poverty and hunger.
