This is a pan India group of dedicated young volunteers (doctors, advocates, VPs, engineers, VCs, etc) working day and night to ensure that patients get the best care and lives are not lost and time not wasted in scrambling for resources.
"Proud to have spearheaded , what is turning out to be a truly pathbreaking movement. Reach out to us. We can’t guarantee success, but we promise to give our heart and soul into helping you in this era of #dystopia2021 " says Dr Radhika Batra, Founder and President of Every Infant Matters.
"When I got Covid, I was inundated with calls from across the country, with people calling desperately for help to save their loved ones. People were frantic: where can I get a hospital bed? How do we get oxygen? My father needs a ventilator? Where can my wife get a C section? And so on. This is why I started this movement," says Radhika
Call us, DM, Text, Tweet, if you need help.
Why the need? India’s health system has collapsed. No hospital beds. No ventilators. No ICUs. No monitors. No oxygen. No Covid medicines. There are waiting lists of 20-500 people in every hospital. But preference is given to VIPs. Nobody cares for the common man. The Covid task Force works 24/7 attending to people who need help, linking them with facilities, finding where we can get them prompt and best help, using our countrywide network of doctors both in public and private to address the issue.
Aditya Raj Kaul Contributing Editor CNN joins us with full enthusiasm. We need every help, every moment is precious, every life is important. Aditya Raj Kaul Contributing Editor CNN joins the Covid task Force with full Twitter: "Anchor: How challenging is it to find a bed with a ventilator in New Delhi today? It’s not challenging. It’s impossible. Where I speak about the common man taking up the burden to help those in distress amidst crisis in New Delhi. Dr. Girish Ahuja, President, and Mr. Avinash Gupta, Secretary of the SRCC Alumni Association are deeply concerned with the plight of frontline health workers. Mr. Avinash Gupta says: “Our Association wants to help those who are serving patients, but do not have the resources to buy their own personal protection kits, face shields and helmets. Nor can they buy unlimited supply of sanitizers and gloves and N-95 masks. We are honored that we are able to help people like ambulance drivers, sanitary workers, nurses and their assistants, kitchen staff, ward boys and technicians, and are able to supply them with essential items for their protection against the deadly virus. ” SRCC Alumni Association has funded the purchase of PPE kits, sanitizers, face shields and protective goggles, among other items. Every Infant Matters is distributing these in both government and private hospitals of Delhi.
